Like most of you out there, I love computers but hate the cost for software to do anything with them.  Also, I really dislike having to run all over the cyber-world for one little bit of information that I need to get something done.   Sure, I like to learn new things, but when I have time, not when trying to get something done NOW.

This site is for just those problems.  It contains recommendations for software, hints, tips, and ways to get your questions answered as well as  links to interesting sites that I've accumulated over time. 

 All the software that I link to here is Freeware.  That is, they are free to use and free to redistribute to others.  It is all legal.  I'll rattle on about this subject the "about me" section.

Go to SOFTWARE for recommendations about all kinds of software.  Look here before you toss down tons of money on software.  The Odds are someone else is giving similar software away free, and it often works better then the commercial one.

 Go to WEB SITES  to find links to lots of interesting pages on many topics.  Some are just fun, and other offer serious help (and free stuff of course).

Go to SHOPPING to find my recommendations on places to buy what you must as the best prices.  I'll share info on places I've ordered from and consider reliable and safe.

Go to Q & A to ask questions and see questions others have asked, as well as nifty hints you can use.44

Go to MY INTERESTS to learn about things I just like to talk about:  Linux, PDA's, Astronomy, and of course, My Grandkids pictures and such.  

Sorry to have been out of pocket and not updating the site recently.  Summer trips, and recovering from summer trips took a while.  Also, I migrated to a newer Linux OS and that took some time.
